APPLICATION GUIDE

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Follow these surface preparation, mixing and coating steps for a smooth, durable finish with Silky Wall Putty.
Professional worker cleaning loose material from a wall before applying Silky Wall Putty.
01  Prepare the Surface
Remove dirt, chalky material, flakes and loose particles using sandpaper, a suitable wire brush or putty blade.

02  Dampen the Wall
Moisten the cleaned surface evenly and allow excess water to drain before beginning the putty application.

03  Mix the Putty
Add the measured water to a clean container and mix thoroughly until a smooth, homogeneous paste is obtained.

04  Repair Cracks
Fill fine cracks, blockwork joints and minor concrete defects using a clean putty blade before applying the full coat.

Apply an even first coat using a clean steel finishing trowel or putty blade and smooth the surface carefully.

PACKAGING & HANDLING
First of all remove all dirt flaky chalky and loose particles by using emery/sand paper, wire brush or putty blade. Surface should be moistened with water prior to the application of Silky Wall Putty.
