Areas of Application

  • Interior walls & floors; dry and moderately wet areas (kitchens, bathrooms, utility rooms)

  • Balconies/covered exteriors (non‑immersed, protected from heavy rain)

  • Tile types: ceramic, vitrified/porcelain, and compatible natural stones not sensitive to moisture staining

Method of Application :

  1. Add clean water to Silky Tile Fixer S FIBRE MAX 919 and mix thoroughly until a lump free mortar is obtained. A 20 kgs bag will require approximately 4-6 Liters of water. The adhesive once prepared, no further water should be added while in use.
  2. Apply the adhesive to the substrate using notched trowel. Spread not more than 1 sqm at a time.
  3. When fixing marble slabs and tiles for exterior use, apply adhesive both to the tiles and substrate.
  4. Press the tiles firmly into position with a slight twisting action.
  5. Depending on the porosity of the tile surface and atmospheric conditions, tiles should be fixed within 20 min. of adhesive being applied. Tiles can be adjusted up to 20 minutes after fixing.
  6. Clean off surplus adhesive from the tiles face and between the joints.
