Direction for use:
CLEANING : Ensure that the surface to be painted is free from any loose paint, dust or grease. Any previous growth of fungus, algae or moss needs to be removed thoroughly by vigorous wire brushing and cleaning with water.
FILLING : Surface imperfections such as holes, dents. Fine cracks are to be filled with Silky Wall Putty or a mixture of white cement & fine sand
(in the ratio of 1:3).
PRIMER : Freshly plastered surfaces must be allowed to cure completely. On such surfaces, apply two coats of Silky Interior Wall Primer by thinning 300ml – 400 ml of water to 1 litre of Silky Interior Wall Primer. Don’t over dilute mix the primer well before use. Allow the Exterior Wall Primer to dry for 4 hours.
MAINTENANCE TIPS : For the best performance of the paint, ensure proper washing and cleaning of all algal and fungal growth at regular intervals of six months.
RECOMMENDED FOR:
Exterior/ lnterior surfaces of Cement plaster, brick work and masonry. Do not use on any horizontal surface with Foot or vehicle trafic. For the best possible finish, Please Follow the directions below. Paint failure may occur if the surface preparation and application directions are not followed.

STEP 1 –
Clean Before painting, make sure all traces of contamination such as dirt, dust, grease, cleaning solutions, and chalk have been removed from the surface. To remove mildew – wash with a solution of one part chlorine bleach to three parts water. Protect hands with rubber gloves and eyes with protective glasses, foliage should be covered (or rinsed with water prior to and following bleach solution application). Rinse surface well with plenty of water and allow to dry thoroughly. To remove chalk- wash with a strong detergent such as TSP. Follow safety and usage instructions.
STEP 2 –
Repair any loose or flaking paint must be scrapped by hand. Feather sand the edges. Lightly sand any shiny areas to remove the gloss. Fill cracks, seams and joints with paintable caulk or interior grade wood filler and allow to dry.
STEP 3 –
Preparation interior Wood Prime new and bare wood with a latex or oil primer. Use an oil based primer on badly weathered wood, exposed nail heads, knots, etc. Hardboard Siding; Prime hardboard siding with an oil base primer (even if it was factory primed). Aluminum & Vinyl Siding: Apply directly to siding provided steps one and two have been followed. Vinyl siding may warp if a color darker than original factory is applied. Masonry. Asbestos Siding or Shingles, and Stucco if surface is weathered or chalking, prime with an oil base primer. Except for bricks.
